In the second quarter of 2025, the performance of the leading air travel apps on Android in Bulgaria showed distinct trends in downloads and active user engagement. Here’s a closer look at how these apps fared, with insights from Sensor Tower.

Ryanair experienced a gradual decrease in weekly downloads, starting at 1.5K in early April and dropping to around 850 by the end of June. Active users showed a similar trend, starting at 28.1K and ending the quarter at about 25K.

Wizz Air - Book, Travel & Save maintained relatively stable download numbers, peaking at 1.1K in mid-May. The app saw its active users fluctuate, beginning at 18K and peaking at 21.5K in early June, before declining towards the quarter's end.

Bulgaria Air had modest download numbers, starting at 125 and gradually increasing to 184 by the end of June. Although active user data is not available, the steady increase in downloads suggests a growing interest.
